Job Title: Yard Loader

Job Description

Responsible for all duties related to the yard and warehouse. Operate standard sit-down forklift (25% of the day) to pull orders of various building supplies. Responsible for pulling orders, building pallets of product, shipping, receiving, etc. Use WMS and scanning to locate product. Familiarity with building supplies is preferred, including roofing, windows/doors, kitchen/bath, siding, interior millwork, exterior millwork, and lumber. Build pallets by hand, which requires heavier lifting, such as stacking roofing shingles.

Preferred candidates should be familiar with building supplies. Build pallets by hand, which requires heavier lifting. Good communication skills are needed as you will handle customer service when vendors pick up orders.

Shift: 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday Overtime is based on orders for the day and could require staying late based on workload.

Work Environment

Dress code: steel toe boots, work pants, work shirt, etc. Need to be flexible with start and finish times.

Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions (cold, heat, snow, rain).
