YARD SUPERINTENDENT - Morgan City, LA
The Opportunity:
The Yard Manager position is based in our Morgan City, LA facility in support of Great Lakes domestic operations. The position is a full time position based in Morgan City, LA.

Responsibilities:
* Promote Safety and IIF Culture at all levels of yard personnel and plant personnel using yard facilities.
* Ensure that all contractors, vendors and personnel attending yard facilities have proper identification and training to use GLDD facilities
* Ensure the yard complies with all Local, state and Federal regulatory requirements
* Manage and maintain yard inventories for on hand parts and equipment
* Ensure that yard facilities are maintained in a clean, organized and orderly fashion.
* Manage yard crews as necessary to facilitate efficient use of yard resources to support daily operations.
* Manage preventative maintenance of yard support equipment, plant and facilities.
* Coordinate with appropriate managers to provide and schedule yard support for plant & equipment maintenance and lay up periods.
* Coordinate with General Superintendent and Project Site Teams for mobilization/demobilization of plant & equipment to/from yard facilities as required
* Ensure proper support of plant & equipment to field site locations for required parts, supplies and equipment located at yards.
* Prior experience working with dredging or offshore equipment
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Complete a pre-employment physical examination, drug screen and background check
* Willing to work an 8-10 hour per day shift including weekends if required
* Able to operator forklift and heavy equipment as required
* Hold or able to obtain NCCCO or equivalent crane operators certificate
* Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs.
* Hold or be able to acquire a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card)
