Yard Sr. Specialist/Supervisor To provide safe, effective oversight on vehicle location updates, identification, movement, staging, and vehicle prep for full time and temporary staff members. Works under Assistant Manager and is expected to report all issues to management in a timely manner. Operatecompany vehicles in a safe and proper manner. Perform vehicle handling audits and provide oversight for facility units on site. Department: Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) Reports to: Yard Assistant Manager Key Responsibilities: Plan vehicle movements, shuttle routs and parking locations.Establish overflow documentation for staging areas, set head count per van, monitor activities performed in staging areas.Collaborate with other departments on manpower and daily needs.Create shift recap reports for complete and incomplete tasks to others.Provide direction for priority changes and assignments during shift. Focus on location scans and aged vehicles.Facilitate efficiency for department requirements to maximize vehicle output.Provide directions to team members regarding safety and new task protocols.Design, develop, and distribute reports that drive key business decisions.Conduct audits to ensure proper safety and quality standards are achieved.Provide feedback to team members concerning KPI performances.Manage clock in/out procedures to ensure payroll is completed on time.Implement countermeasures and corrective actions as needed.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required.Prior leadership experience preferred, Automotive experience preferred, Ability to interpret instructions and apply as instructed.Must have excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong organizational and planning skills.Attention to detail, discretion, and multi-tasking.Desire to be proactive and create positive experiences for others. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items. The estimated base salary range for the Yard Sr. Specialist/Supervisor is $65,500-$69,200. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting.
