REPORTS TO: Yard Manager SUPERVISES: Scale Clerk, Heavy Equipment Operator, Buy Room Operator Requirements: ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead employees and delegate daily job tasks Assist manager of inventory for ferrous and non-ferrous commodities Customer service with daily peddler foot traffic Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe to maintain efficiency. Maintain equipment and communicate needs with Maintenance Director EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Previous knowledge and understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous commodities preferred. Heavy equipment operator experience required. COMPETENCIES: Self-starter that takes initiative Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines. Team player attitude Eagerness to learn and grow with the company.
