We believe the rewards are worth the effort: a business you help shape, a supportive team you learn from, and the chance to have a sustainable impact in which you can truly be proud.**Job Description**BlueTriton Brands is currently seeking applicants for a Yard Utility / Switcher, night shift position at the Stanwood, Michigan facility.**Compensation**Pay: $26.93 / hourShift differential: 6 - 8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours worked**Benefits**401(k) matching; dental insurance; flexible spending account; health insurance; life insurance; paid time off and holidays; vision insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; career stability and growth!**Schedule**12-hour shifts on rotating schedule (2/2/3)Night Shift 6 pm - 6:30 amKey responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:+ Safely operate a yard truck to accurately and efficiently move trailers from the yard to a shipping door for shipment to customers.+ Inspect trailers before movement to ensure trailer is safe before loaded with product+ Meet or exceed Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)+ Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of yard truck+ Supports continuous improvement initiatives+ Perform loading or palletizing responsibilities as needed+ Other duties as assigned by warehouse leadership team**Qualifications****Key qualifications include:**+ High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience+ Class A commercial driver license preferred+ Prior forklift or heavy equipment experience preferred with prior experience in manufacturing desired+ Exposure to warehouse inventory scanners and basic equipment maintenance preferred+ Ability to work self directed and accomplish daily workload with minimal supervision.+ Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team based environment+ Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work+ Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications+ Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency+ Ability to move/handle 50 lbs and get up and down a yardtruck/forklift frequently throughout the day+ Able to sit for long periods of time and drive backwards as needed+ Able and willing to work 12 hour shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysBlueTriton Brands, Inc.
