Hiring Yard Workers for our McCoy Construction and Forestry Dealership in Duluth, MN
Yard Workers purpose is to help with tasks within all departments. As a Yard Worker, your goal is to limit all departments' downtime to run the day-to-day business more efficiently. While performing job duties, Yard Workers will gain basic knowledge on how each department operates.
Yard Worker Responsibilities:
- Clean, align and rotate equipment displays to create the best image for the business
- Provide thorough inspection of new equipment
- Check in equipment for service and keep yearlong file of IN/OUT records of whole goods
- Ensure equipment has all the proper documentation before leaving the store
- Assist in loading the equipment leaving the store, including proper rental agreement, Insurance certificate from the customer, etc.
- Maintain a list of all equipment and attachments in inventory, reviews and updates whole goods and attachment inventory as needed
- Assist the parts department to ensure products are stored properly and placed on proper shelves in the parts warehouse
- Work in conjunction with other departments to maintain and clean, safe, and professional environment for customers and employees
- Deliver parts and machine attachments to customers as needed
- Coordinate daily activities of equipment at branch, including sales, service, parts and inventory
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, electronic, or schedule form
Yard Worker Requirements:
- Construction and forestry equipment experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift certified (will train on the job for right candidate)
- Good work ethic
- Ability to handle fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
