Orica will provide on the job training and the necessary CDL schooling.Work scheduleMonday thru FridayHome every nightLocal driving (2-3 hours)Early morning starts approx. 4 AM8-12 hours per day approx.Overtime may be neededWhat you will be doingContribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”), keeping safety guards on equipment in place, using equipment safely, and looking out for the other members on your teamMaintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazardsLoad and unload trucksAssist other team members when necessaryOperate mobile equipment on siteAssist with maintenance tasks including lubrication, maintenance, minor repairsOrganize stock and products within the warehouseMaintain accurate records of products that have been stockedVerify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all products are in excellent conditionWhat you will bringAbility to work independently and complete daily activities according to work scheduleAbility to work from elevated heightsMining, quarry, and construction experience a plusExperience with hand tools and mechanical aptitude preferredNote: Orica does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.Do not apply for this role if you will need Orica Immigration Sponsorship (e.g., H1-B, TN, STEM OPT, etc.) now or in the future.AccountabilitiesMust be prompt and committed to doing great workMust have reliable transportation to the job siteMust be self-motivated and can work well with othersMust be able to lift, push, pull and move up to 50-70 pounds.Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyMust be able to pass a drug test, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), and criminal background screeningStrong organizational skillsPhysical requirementsWork environment involves being outside in all types of weatherMust be able to load product, pull large hoses, fill holes, and climb on/off of the truckLifting and carrying 50 pounds or more of product or other materialsPushing/Pulling in working with equipmentOther activities include frequent bending and squattingYour qualificationsHigh School or equivalent preferredOne year related work experience preferredMinimum age 18What we offerAs part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture.
