Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a human services related field IS REQUIRED and one-year direct care experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Have a valid state driver's license; and, have a legally registered and insured car for work use.
- Due to the nature of the work and client needs, the OTCW requires a 45 hour work week including some evenings, weekends and holidays. On call duties may also be required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advocacy in the areas of health, education, vocation, legal and family/foster family intervention
- Develop and maintain supportive client relationships assisting clients' to attain treatment goals
- Facilitate individual client and/or family counseling, mediation, and support
- Coordinate clinical services with clinic staff
- Locates, evaluates, and utilizes community resources for clients and families
- Establishes aftercare plans and develops community resources for terminating clients/families
- Completes case documentation (assessments, daily treatment notes, reports, etc.) in a professionally and timely
