Job Description:

Join the Youth Group Advisory team and be part of the youth movement leading the development of mental health access and innovative care for young people in California. We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to shape the future of mental health support and advocate for the well-being of young people in our community. As a member of the , you will have the opportunity to contribute your unique perspective, collaborate with a community of young leaders, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of youth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the development of allcove programs and services.
  • Collaborate with the allcove team and statewide youth advisors.
  • Engage with the community to develop projects supporting equity and access.
  • Create spaces for advocacy and elevate youth voice.
  • Explore strategies to reach young people in diverse communities with the greatest needs.
  • Support other community initiatives and provide insight and direction on various projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Age Requirement: Must be between the ages of 16 and 25.
  • Availability: Able to commit to 8 to 10 hours per month over a 12-month period.
  • Diverse Representation: Demonstrate a commitment to diverse representation across socio-economic status, race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, ability, and lived experience.

APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS:

  • Interested candidates should complete and submit the application by AUGUST 18th.
  • Qualified candidates will be invited for a one-on-one interview with current members of the planning team.
  • Youth advisors will be selected based on the criteria mentioned above, ensuring a diverse and inclusive representation of young people.
