The Youth Service Planning Board Coordinator supports the 4th Judicial District Youth Services Planning Board. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention for details. This person should have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to managers and board members. Given the dynamic nature of the Board Coordinator position, we rely on candidates to be flexible and consistent while maintaining confidentiality of high-level systems and operations. The member led board is comprised of 11-25 community leaders dedicated to fostering accessible, culturally relevant services aimed at preventing and intervening in situations where children, youth, and families are at risk of entering the foster care or criminal/juvenile justice systems in Morehouse and Ouachita Parishes. Guided by evidence-based practices and community collaboration, the board aims to prevent the involvement of young people in foster care or the criminal/juvenile justice systems. The Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana serves as its fiscal agent.
