Youth Sport Manager

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of youth sport within our borough? We're seeking a passionate and driven Youth Sport Manager to continue delivering high-quality sport programmes while inspiring the next generation of athletes. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role that will directly contribute to our vision of creating an active and healthy community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the growth and management of the School Swimming Programme, ensuring it reaches more schools, increases participation, and meets income targets.
* Coordinate Team Enfield's involvement in the London Youth Games and London Mini Marathon, from recruitment to logistics, ensuring our teams are well-prepared and safe.
* Expand the range of youth sport opportunities offered through the Active Enfield programme, including holiday activities that provide engaging and accessible options for young people.
* Drive inclusivity by developing disability sports programmes, ensuring that young people of all abilities have the opportunity to participate in sports.
* Secure external funding to improve local sports facilities, focusing on enhancing opportunities for youth participation.
* Collaborate with local sports clubs to develop talent pathways, helping young athletes progress to higher levels of competition.
* Provide programme updates and reports to senior leadership and deputise for the Head of Sport & Leisure when required.
What We're Looking For:
* A candidate with in-depth knowledge of youth sport development, community engagement, and sport pathways.
* Proven experience in securing funding for sports projects and managing large-scale, multi-faceted programmes within budget and deadlines.
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to grow income-generating programmes and meet key performance indicators.
* A commitment to inclusivity, with experience leading disability sports initiatives and promoting participation across all communities.
* Excellent relationship-building skills, able to work with internal teams and external partners to achieve shared goals.
