DescriptionDuties and responsibilities
- Take guest orders and fills them in a presentable and timely manner
- Offer suggestions by using suggestive selling techniques
- Acknowledge all guests in a prompt manner
- Ensure all chairs, floors, and work areas are clean and presentable at all times
- Maintain excellent communication between all team members
- Respond to guests who are dissatisfied and notify a Manager as soon as possible if issue cannot be resolved
- Work closely with fellow employees to ensure smooth and fast service to our guests
- Ensure all food is fresh and presentable to the required standards
- Follow opening, closing and daily on-going procedures and checklist
- Operates cash register, processes cash and credit cards for orders
- Serves hot and cold food, beverages, and alcohol
- Ensures yurt is always kept clean, floor swept and mopped, counters wiped, sink and dishwasher clean, garbage and recycling taken out as needed/or the end of shift
- Any other tasks assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 21+ years old with reliable transportation
- Required to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays and may be required to work overtime
- Have full knowledge of entire menu and preparations, including daily features/beverages
- Understanding of Duty of Care as it relates to the responsible service of Alcohol, TIPS certification required
- Knowledge of POS and payment system
- Ability to take direction and perform duties efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and politely with guests and employees alike
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- A professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Good interpersonal skills

Working conditionsThe Yurt Attendant position is based primarily inside, but may also be outside exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (10,500+ feet). Physical requirementsMust be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift objects that may be heavy; must be able to ski or snowboard at a minimum of an intermediate levelSeasonal StatusThis Position is a seasonal position with an expected season of early December through early-mid April.
