**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Produces Foam Core mattresses for work station and assembles according to production schedule.
Sets up work area by preparing glue station for operation, stocks supplies according to the daily production work load.
Follows production schedule and current manufacturing procedures to produce pieces.
Assembles Foam Core units utilizing the correct components in accordance to GMS/Quality specifications and assembles with hot melt or water based adhesive; working within a team operation or in combination with another employee ( team basis) as needed or instructed.
Prepares assembled pieces for shipping. This includes bagging and other packaging before getting product to shipping area for shipping department to stage and load for trucks.
Maintains safe, clean and orderly work station, sweeps area and removes packaging materials and/or other debris regularly throughout the shift.
Completes any necessary paperwork or production related documentation in an accurate and timely manner as needed.

**Experience/Education**
Basic ability to read and write English
Must be at least 18 years of age
Demonstrated?ability and willingness to work safely, take initiative, multi-task, and work both independently and as a part of a team.? Work experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment preferred.?
**Job Factors/Work Environments**
Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations as required.? Also must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour during an 8-hour shift or longer in overtime situations to meet customer demand.??Heavy loads must be team-lifted.? A work pace that maintains integrity of?make-to-order system?is required.?
Safety-focused, fast-paced manufacturing plant engaged in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement.? Work environment includes a clean and safe work area?and?exposure to high noise decibels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals.? Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn for any hazards and is supplied by the company.
**Key Relationships**
SUPERVISED BY: Plant Supervisor or the Plant Operations Manager. May receive direction from the Department Lead
