Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJob Summary:Commercial Sales Account Manager requires an in depth understanding of the various aspects of the building materials supply business and generate in excess of $2 million in sales.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Generate sales growth from a portfolio of accounts you createdAid in identifying new category sales opportunities within existing accountsAttend client/builder meetings in showroom, client office, and/or jobsiteConduct product selection meetings with client/builder in our showroomTravel to job sites to perform jobsite verification of window/millwork specs/measurements on ongoing projectsPerform material take-offs on smaller scale projectsRespond to builder communications via phone/email/textAssemble job packs for the installerBe involved in the order process from estimating through orderingAssist the sales team with all details of ongoing projectsCommunicating with inside support staffTalking with vendorsAssisting customers when help is needed at front counter.Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growthRequirementsQualifications:Requires High School Diploma and 3-5 years of lumberyard experience or 2-4 year degree related to business or construction industry.Mathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, divide, measurements of square foot and cubic footStrong computer skills and understanding of Zuern Building Products software platformSelf-motivated and comfortable working with little to no directionAbility to work under minimal supervisionMust be able to lift up to 70 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, climb and reachVast product knowledge of building materials and practicesRequires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and customersExcellent customer service skillsWork Requirements:Valid Wisconsin driver's license and medically able to operate a Zuern company vehicleMust be willing and able to travel with Zuern provided company vehicle up to 60 percent of the time
